BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- We found a gas price war in Baytown. Kroger and RPS Discount Gas dropped prices to $3.36 a gallon for unleaded gas. Both stations have seen long lines all day. Some say $3.35 is reasonable price to pay compared to high prices at other places. The average price of gas in the Houston area is $3.85. So a driver filling up with 15 gallons saved around $8.
