HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are searching for the driver who hit and nearly killed a man in southwest Houston and then drove off.
It happened around midnight on Chimney Rock just south of Highway 59. Police say two men were pushing an SUV on Chimney Rock after it ran out of gas. Another SUV then came along and crashed into the stalled vehicle. One man was able to jump out of the way in time. The other was hit and taken to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition.
The driver who hit them sped off. If you have any information in the case, you're asked to call police.
