HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man who crashed into a METRO bus Saturday night ended up in jail for allegedly driving drunk, officials said. The accident happened on Scott St. at Dennis St. around 11:00pm Saturday.
Police said a METRO bus with about seven or eight passengers was traveling south on Scott when a car ran a stop sign going east on Dennis.
The car smashed into the front side of the bus.
No one on the bus was injured. The driver of the car was checked by paramedics, then taken to jail for driving while intoxicated, officials said.
