SOUTH HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- South Houston police are investigating the death of a homeless man whose body was discovered on New Year's Eve.
Officials said the body was found around 7pm Saturday in the 1400 block of Spencer.
According to police, the 54-year-old man was apparently beaten to death.
The victim's name has not been released. Officials are trying to notify his family.
