'Bad Wig Bandit' robs SW Houston bank

Bad Wig Bandit The 'Bad Wig Bandit' is described as a white male in his mid-30s, standing around 5-foot-7 and weighing between 175 and 180 pounds. He has a medium build and medium complexion.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The FBI hopes you can help them find a man who wore a woman's wig while robbing a southwest Houston bank on Monday.

Investigators say the suspect -- who the FBI has named the 'Bad Wig Bandit' -- robbed the Prosperity Bank at 4065 Bellaire Blvd. at around 12:20pm.

The suspect reportedly entered the bank and approached a teller. He verbally demanded money, then lifted his shirt to reveal a pistol in his waistband.

The teller handed over some cash, which the suspect stuffed in his pockets and fled on foot.

The 'Bad Wig Bandit' is described as a white male in his mid-30s, standing around 5-foot-7 and weighing between 175 and 180 pounds. He has a medium build and medium complexion.

Aside from the wig, the suspect was wearing jeans and a blue jean-colored sweatshirt with a zipper on the top.
