HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man crashed into street signs on the Southwest Freeway feeder road and then took off on foot. It happened near Kirby just before 1am. Police say the driver somehow lost control and hit a red light pole, knocked over two street signs, then rolled to a stop at the U-turn underneath the freeway.
Another driver crashed into one of those signs spewed across the feeder road a short time later, disabling his car.
All of the debris has since been cleared.
