Two of Perkins sextuplets allowed to go home from Texas Children's Hospital

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Perkins sextuplets have reached a milestone, as two of the babies have been allowed to go home.

You'll remember Lauren and David Perkins had the six babies at Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women back in April. The hospital says one boy and one girl were strong enough to go home.

The four others are still in the neonatal intensive care unit. Two are breathing on their own and should be able to go home within the next week and a half.

The other two still need to grow more before they are allowed to go home.
