Boy, 8, electrocuted in Galveston County

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An 8-year-old boy was electrocuted in Galveston County Thursday.

The incident happened about 8:35pm in the town of Algoa. A LifeFlight helicopter airlifted the boy to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where he was pronounced dead.

The Galveston Co. Sheriff's Office says their preliminary investigation indicates an accident. He tells us at this point, there is no suspicion of foul play.
