CONROE, tX (KTRK) -- Students are helping authorities find out who vandalized a bronze tiger statue honoring a longtime teacher. The tiger stands outside of Conroe High School.Yesterday, custodians found the two-ton tiger was covered in bright blue paint.
After the vandalism was announced, administrators say several students came forward with information about the possible culprit. The principal says the act was not done as a senior class prank.
The tiger memorializes Grady Spikes, who taught at Conroe High School before winning election as Precinct 2 justice of the peace.
