Man thrice convicted of DWI facing murder charge

Casmiro Campos, 64 Investigators believe Casmiro Campos, 64, was drunk when he crashed into the wall of a convenience store.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man convicted of three DWIs in the last three decades now faces felony murder charges in a crash that killed his passenger.

Investigators believe 64-year-old Casmiro Campos was drunk when he crashed into the wall of a convenience store. It all happened Wednesday afternoon at South Post Oak and Anderson. Amelia Perez, 46, was ejected from his SUV and died later at the hospital.

Campos has been convicted of previous DWIs in 1985, 1987 and 1993.
