Fort Bend County residents warned about jury duty scams

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Fort Bend County residents are being warned about jury duty scams.

The Ft. Bend Co. District Clerk urges residents to be wary of anyone calling about jury duty and asking for personal information such as Social Security numbers. The clerk's office says it does not call citizens to request personal information.

The clerk's office urges people who receive calls from an alleged jury duty coordinator to contact the Ft. Bend Co. Sheriff's Office.
