Houston eyes 2017 Super Bowl bid

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sports and Convention corporation is putting together a bid for Houston for the 2017 Super Bowl game.

It's all in the initial stages now and no date has been set by the league for the rewarding of the game. It's a long shot, since Houston was shot down in the first ballot last time we bid on a game.

The owners vote on the Super Bowl sites and if the owners aren't in Bob Mcnair's corner, we wont get the game. If they are, we will -- that simple.
