HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Deputies are investigating what led up to an accident that killed a driver last night. It happened around 9pm on Rankin near Gillman in north Harris County. Investigators say the victim was traveling westbound on Rankin when he somehow went off the road and slammed into a ditch. He died at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
