HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Food Bank's Souper Bowl of Caring got underway this morning. The Houston Texans cheerleaders and Toro are also helping collect donations at the Food Bank this morning. The event runs through Super Bowl Sunday. H-E-B, Kroger and Randalls employees are also helping this morning.
"It takes everybody in Houston to tackle hunger. The Boy Scouts are involved, we have churches, we have schools -- every bit matters," said President & CEO Souper Bowl of Caring Tracy Bender.
The Food Bank is hoping to collect enough donations for three million meals. You can donate food at most grocery stores.
