A Houston police officer walked away unscathed despite what that officer's patrol car looked like. 
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A police car collided with a van on the Northwest Freeway feeder road overnight. The officer was responding to a call with his lights on when he went through the intersection at West 34th Street. He ran into the van. Neither the officer nor the van driver was hurt.
The van driver was ticketed because he did not have a driver's license or insurance. Accident investigators are still trying to determine who was at fault in the crash.
