HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is now serving a life prison sentence after breaking into a home in League City, then trying to sexually assault a six-year-old girl. Robert Cast was convicted Thursday on charges in Galveston County. Back in October 2010, he broke into a house then barricaded himself in the little girl's room. Her three-year-old brother was also in the room.
Cast eventually let the children's father in the room, and he was arrested.
