PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- A pickup truck with a baby inside was stolen Saturday night in Pasadena. The child has been recovered, but officials said the thief still has the truck. According to officials, a 10-month-old girl was in the back seat of her mother's pickup when it was stolen Saturday night from their driveway in the 2700 block of Harvard at Preston near Pasadena Blvd.
The baby was soon found unharmed. The suspect dropped her off in a car seat on the side of the road in the 100 block of N. Witter near Strawberry Health Center, officials said.
Police are still searching for the suspect and the stolen vehicle -- a 2008 four-door Chevrolet Silverado with license plate number 20L-VV9. The truck has 21-inch chrome rims and blue halogen lights.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call Pasadena police.
