PORTER, TX (KTRK) -- A man who robbed a McDonald's in Porter last night may be responsible for holding up another fast food restaurant. Sheriff's deputies say a man in sunglasses and a black hoodie walked into the McDonald's on FM 1314 and the Eastex Freeway around 10:30pm. Deputies say he showed the cashier a gun and forced him to turn over cash. He left the station in a silver Jeep Cherokee.
There was a similar robbery at a Whataburger at the same intersection Monday.
