Apartment fire displaces NE Houston residents

See it on TV? Check here.   HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Several northeast Houston residents were displaced Sunday after an apartment fire damaged their homes.

The fire broke out just before 1:30pm on Irvington Blvd. at Soren Ln., right off the Hardy Toll Road near Parker.

Ten units in all sustained damage,authorities said. Two were damaged by flames and eight were damaged by smoke and water.

According to firefighters, all 10 units were occupied. Everyone got out safely, but officials said one person suffered minor injuries from breaking a window.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
