Michael Brent Sewell Michael Brent Sewell, 32, is charged with Improper Photography/Visual Recording.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Richmond man is accused of posting a video onto YouTube of himself and his ex-girlfriend having sex, following through on a threat to do it if she didn't stay in their relationship.

Michael Brent Sewell, 32, is charged with Improper Photography/Visual Recording. According to court documents, Sewell and the victim had been in a relationship that began in August 2009. During that relationship, the couple videotaped themselves having sex.

Late last year, the couple ended their relationship, but according to investigators, Sewell didn't want it to be over and threatened to post the videos to YouTube if she left him. But she did, and according to court documents, he followed through with this threat.

On April 4, the victim told police she received an email from Sewell, telling her that a video of them having sex had been posted on YouTube by someone named 'Michael Mcloser.'

Police say they contacted Sewell, who admitted that he did post the video, saying he did it to embarrass her and possibly get her fired from her job.

Sewell's bail has been set at $2,000.
