ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- Rosenberg police reached out to the public Sunday for help identifying an armed suspect wanted in two different cases.

The first incident -- an aggravated robbery -- happened around 1:20pm Saturday in the 2900 block of Airport.

According to police, a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s blocked the victim's car, exited his vehicle and took money from the victim at gunpoint.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a red or maroon sedan with a black front fender on the driver's side. He was wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.

A little over an hour later, police said the same suspect struck again in the 1500 block of Jones Street.

This time, it was an attempted home invasion.

Police said the suspect knocked on the door and then began kicking it when the victim refused to answer. He was unable to gain entry and he fled the scene. The victim recorded still photographs and video of the suspect's car as he drove away.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is urged to call Rosenberg Police Department Investigator John White at 832-595-3720 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
