HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We're working to gather details after a Transtar JamCam captured video of a car on fire at a toll booth along the South Sam Houston Tollway. The accident happened just before 11am on the tollway near Wayside. Video showed rescue crews on the scene and the vehicle fully engulfed.
At least one person was transported to the hospital, according to authorities. The extent of the victim's injuries are not known at this time.
Several lanes of the tollway are being blocked until crews can clear the accident scene. Stay with Eyewitness News and abc13.com for the latest on this breaking story.
