Authorities are on the scene of a deadly drive-by shooting in west Houston. 
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12400 Shadowmist about 5:30am. Police say Tai Nguyen, 38, was leaving his home to go to work when he was approached by an unknown suspect or suspects. As he entered his vehicle, he was shot numerous times. Nguyen attempted to flee into his residence but collapsed on his driveway. He died at the scene.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
