Man shot during robbery in NW Harris County

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Robbery appears to be the motive for a shooting overnight in northwest Harris County.

A man was shot at the North Bend apartment complex on Cornerstone Village near Walters. Deputies say he was walking with his wife from their car when two gunmen approached them.

The suspects demanded money and one opened fire on the husband. He was taken to the hospital by Life Flight in serious condition.

The suspects remain on the run.
