HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are searching for four suspects who were reportedly wearing police uniforms when they opened fire at a northwest Houston apartment complex Friday morning. The shooting happened around 11am at the Sir Charles Apartments in the 10000 block of Hanka.
Police say four men wearing what appeared to be police uniforms opened fire at an apartment unit with a woman and baby inside. The woman said a bullet came through the wall but no one was injured.
Another resident who heard the gunshots also was punched by one of the suspects after he mistook them for police officers and asked about the shooting.
The suspects then fled the scene.
Police believe the suspects were trying to target a man who lived in that apartment unit.
