Two SE Houston schools were on lockdown

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities asked two southeast Houston elementary schools to go on lockdown as a safety precaution, and that lockdown has now been lifted.

Anna Nunez with Harris County Precinct 6 says deputies saw a man acting suspiciously. When they tried to approach him, he ran off into Ingrando Park. As a precaution, Precinct 6 asked that Sanchez Elementary and Crespo Elementary go on lockdown. That lockdown has since been lifted.

The man, who is not believed to be armed, is described as African-American, about six feet tall and balding. The suspect was not captured.
