Armed suspect sought in Rosenberg store robbery

  ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities are searching for an armed suspect wanted for allegedly robbing a Rosenberg department store this week.

Rosenberg police say on Wednesday around 10:40am they were dispatched to the Botanica San Miguel store on 207 Lane Drive in reference to an aggravated robbery. The victim told officers that a man entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded money. Police say the suspect took cash from the register, as well as cash and other items from the victim's purse. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 25 years old, 5 foot 5 inches tall, thin build, and a light moustache. In surveillance video, he was seen wearing an orange baseball hat with white stitching, a white T-shirt with a black ring around the collar, and gray pants.
