Three HISD schools no longer in jeopardy of closing

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- After weeks of bad news about layoffs, budget cuts and consolidating schools, tonight there is some good news out of HISD.

The district is no longer considering closing Burrus, N.Q. Henderson, and Port Houston elementary schools, but 14 other campuses are still at risk for closure.
