HOUSTON (KTRK) -- In order to prevent more burglaries, METRO police are making an extra effort to help driver protect their property.
On Tuesday, nearly a dozen vehicles were burglarized at the Grand Parkway Park & Ride in west Harris County. On Friday, METRO police went car to car, checking to see if drivers left valuables in plain sight. They gave each driver a grade and left crime prevention information on their windshields.
