SWAT standoff ends with arrest of five suspects

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A two-hour SWAT standoff ended with five people in handcuffs on suspicion of stripping stolen vehicles.

Sheriff's deputies say they were tipped off about a chop shop on Brownie Campbell Road in northwest Harris County.

One man was arrested immediately, but four other people inside a trailer refused to come out. They eventually surrendered for questioning.

Deputies say they found at least 17 stolen vehicles on the property.
