HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was tracked down in southwest Houston after aiming a rifle at a police officer last night. Police say the armed man robbed a storage facility on Boone road about 9:30pm.
The responding officer found the man after he aimed the laser sight on his rifle at him. After a chase that involved police dogs and a helicopter, the man was arrested at his own home off Wilcrest.
Officers say by the time they got him he had removed his shirt. Nonetheless, they say they found all the clothes he wore during the robbery as well as the rifle and laser sight.
