Fire destroys home in Montgomery County

  MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- An entire home went up in flames overnight and sent a man running outside with barely enough time to grab his cell phone.

The home in Montgomery County started to burn around 12:30am.

The homeowner says he was inside and saw his blinds glowing then realized his garage was on fire.

Fast-moving flames quickly spread to the house. By the time firefighters arrived, the home was fully involved.

The fire was so severe, crews from Tomball were called in to shuttle water.

No injuries were reported. There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
