HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A fire broke out at a house Monday afternoon and spread next door to a popular restaurant on Washington Corridor. The Houston Fire Department says firefighters responded shortly after 3pm Monday. They say the Broken Spoke Cafe on Washington near Sabine suffered major fire damage after the blaze first completely engulfed the small house next door. The fire remained at one alarm.
A third building also suffered heat exposure.
There were no reports of injuries.
No word yet on a cause on the fire.
