HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An admitted drunk driver is now going to prison for a crash that killed two people in west Harris County. Eric Quiroz pleaded guilty to charges in court Tuesday. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter for a crash on Highway 6 and Pine Forest last November.
Deputies say Quiroz ran a red light and hit another car. A passenger in his car and a person in the other car were killed.
Quiroz will serve 14 years in prison under the plea agreement.
