Man injured in NW Houston accident

A driver was injured after losing control overnight and slammed into a pole.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after crashing his car into a pole.

It happened around 1am on TC Jester near 11th Street in northwest Houston. Investigators say the man was driving at speeds above 70 miles per hour.

The passenger side of the vehicle was peeled back from the impact. Investigators say the driver will be tested for alcohol at the hospital.
