A 2-alarm fire at a southwest Houston apartment building damaged several units. 
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Several apartment units were damaged after a laundry room caught fire in southwest Houston. Firefighters were called to the Bayou West apartments on Club Creek Drive at Greenfork around midnight. They found flames coming from the laundry room. The fire was raised to a second alarm, but was soon knocked out.
The flames spread to a few adjacent units, causing moderate damage. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
