HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A fire destroyed a detached garage and damaged a home. It happened on Saint Mary's at Glenchester in west Houston. Firefighters arrived at the home last night around 9pm. Investigators say the fire started in the detached garage, and then spread to the side of the home. The fire reached the attic and burned one side of the house. The family was able to escape the fire. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
