HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are trying to figure out what led to a deadly hit-and-run crash on the Southwest Freeway this morning. It happened around 3am on Highway 59 near the West Loop exit.
Investigators said the victim was a pedestrian who was run over several times by different vehicles.
None of the drivers stopped, officials said.
The victim's identity was not released.
The accident blocked the freeway for more than an hour.
