HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Texas Southern University says it has issued some stiff penalties against members of its Ocean of Soul marching band for hazing. Texas Southern lifted the suspension of its marching band after a hazing incident. The band will resume performing during TSU's October 27 game against Grambling State University at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The school suspended the band last month after 10 trumpet players paddled nine freshmen.
