HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A motorcycle police officer from Patton Village is expected to be OK after a crash leading a funeral procession. Police say the officer was hit by a car while leading the procession on Cullen Boulevard in southeast Houston. He didn't appear to be seriously hurt, but was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital after the wreck.
Earlier this month, a Pasadena police officer was critically injured in a similar crash while leading a funeral procession.
