HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pair of wrecks in northwest Harris County left one woman dead and several others hurt. It all started around 2:30am Saturday when three vehicles were involved in a wreck on Texas 6 near F.M. 529.
At least one person was taken to the hospital by Life Flight and several others were transported via ambulance, investigators said.
According to deputies, a tow truck driver was leaving the scene a short time later and T-boned another car that was pulling onto Highway 6 from a stop sign.
A 24-year-old woman behind the wheel of that car was killed, officials said.
Deputies are still investigating exactly what happened at both scenes. They said alcohol does not appear to be a factor, but high speed may have been involved.
