Surveillance video of suspect in robbery and stabbing of man at Midtown bank released

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police have released surveillance video to help identify one of two suspects wanted for the robbery and stabbing of a man at a Midtown bank in October.

According to police, the male victim, 46, was picked up by the suspect and a driver (second suspect) and taken to an ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank at 2714 Smith Street about 6:30am on October 10. Houston police say the suspect threatened the victim with a knife and forced him to withdraw funds from the ATM.

When the victim did not withdraw funds, police say the suspect attempted to take the victim's wallet, at which point a struggle ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times. Witnesses overheard the suspect yelling that he was going to kill the victim. After stabbing the victim, the suspect fled in the waiting Marquis and fled in an unknown direction.

The victim was left in the bank's drive-through lanes. He was transported by paramedics to Memorial Hermann Hospital and treated for his severe wounds.

The suspects are described only as two black males. One is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 20 to 30 years of age and weighing about 150 to 160 pounds. This suspect is depicted in the surveillance video to the left of the victim. The suspect were seen driving in a four-door, 90s model, possibly gold Mercury Grand Marquis.

Surveillance video of jewelry store heist released

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities hope surveillance video will help catch the lone suspect responsible for a jewelry store heist.

On September 24 at around 10:15am, an unidentified black male entered the jewelry store located on the 22500 block of Tomball Parkway. Investigators say the suspect approached one of the victims at a display case, and drew a gun from his waist.

Threatening the victims with the weapon, the suspect demanded jewelry from the case. The victims complied, and filled a bag the suspect provided with valuables before surrendering it to the suspect.

The suspect left the store and was seen getting into the passenger side of a gold 4-door Saturn. A substantial amount of jewelry was taken during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, standing around 6 foot 2, weighing approximately 180 - 200 lbs. At the time of the offense, the suspect wore a Chicago Bulls baseball cap, a black Chicago Bulls t-shirt, blue jean shorts and black tennis shoes.

The store's surveillance system captured the robbery on video.

Surveillance video released in fatal drive-by shooting of baby

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in identifying suspects and their vehicle seen in segments of a surveillance video in the fatal shooting of a child.

The unknown suspects are wanted in the death of 11-month-old Forever Donatto. Police say on August 19 at around 3am the baby and several other persons were inside a vehicle parked in the driveway at 8339 Ponnel Lane when an unknown male suspect in a SUV fired several shots in the vehicle's direction, striking it several times. One of the bullets penetrated the back seat of the car and struck the baby. She was transported to Texas Children's Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, police say.

In the surveillance video, the suspect(s) was seen driving in a dark colored, full-sized sport utility vehicle with specialty rims. Two unknown males seen running are believed to be the same individuals inside a vehicle driving by the residence as the gunfire happens (at the :33 mark). Just prior to that, the vehicle with the baby inside pulls into the driveway. Still photos of the wanted vehicle begin at the :53 mark of the video.

Surveillance video released of fatal drive-by shooting in southeast Houston

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect's vehicle involved in the fatal shooting of a man earlier this year in southeast Houston.

The surveillance video starts with the victim's and suspect's vehicles pulling up just outside a service station at 4400 Ward at Foster about 7:20pm on January 3, 2012. The suspect's vehicle then flees through the parking lot immediately after the shooting.

Police say the victim was driving on Ward when a newer model silver Dodge Caliber pulled up next to his car. Someone from inside the Dodge then shot into the driver's side of the victim's vehicle. The victim Sidney Ross, 31, of Houston, drove a short distance and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect is described only as a black male.

Surveillance video released in sledgehammer heist at jewelry store

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities have released surveillance video of a jewelry store heist this week.

At around 1pm Wednesday, three suspects dressed in black from head to toe came into the Zales Outlet at 5203 W. FM 1960 and began smashing the display cases with sledgehammers and started stealing jewelry.

The two employees and two customers who were inside ran to the back of the store and hid in a room until they thought the men had gone.

It's unclear how much merchandise the crooks made off with.

Investigators say the suspects fled in a white 4-door vehicle.

Surveillance video of liquor store robbery released

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dramatic surveillance video of an aggravated robbery in north Harris County has been released and police say the suspect is armed and dangerous.

David Leon Hamilton is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Police say on January 14, Hamilton entered the Greens Liquor Store on Imperial Valley when he allegedly pulled a gun from his hoodie pocket, reached over the counter and began shooting at the two victims. According to court documents, Hamilton then stole about $200 in cash from the register.

Court documents state authorities received information that Hamilton was the one who committed the robbery. Police say both of the shooting victims and a witness later identified Hamilton as the suspect from a photo array.

Hamilton, 26, has a long criminal record including assault, drug possession, theft, resisting arrest and unlawful carrying of a weapon dating back to 2002.

Aggravated robbery captured on surveillance video

See it on TV? Check here.  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Your help is needed to catch a man behind an aggravated robbery at a northwest Harris County gas station last month.

It happened on December 21 at around 2:20am. A single suspect entered the gas station in the 7000 block of West FM 1960. Once inside, he approached the counter brandishing a gun.

Investigators say the suspect demanded cash and gave the employee five seconds to give him the money in the register.

The store clerk complied, and then before leaving, the suspect also demanded for a pack of cigarettes before taking off on foot.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, approximately 25 years old. He stands 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and weighs between 175 and 180 pounds. He has a think beard and sideburns.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are asking for the public's help to find several suspects involved in a major theft case in southwest Houston.

On March 11, a 77-year-old woman was shopping at the WalMart at 2727 Dunvale. Investigators say when she went to the parking lot, she couldn't find her vehicle. That's when they say four Hispanic males offered to help her. They convinced her to that her vehicle needed major repairs and to give them her keys.

Detectives say the suspects then persuaded the victim to accompany them to her bank, where she withdrew $10,000 and gave the suspects $8,000 for car repairs.

Then the suspects, against the victim's will, took her to the Plazamericas shopping center on Bellaire near the Southwest Freeway and convinced her to charge more than $14,000 worth of jewelry to her credit card.

The victim was then taken to her car and left behind the PetSmart at Westheimer and Dunvale.

The suspects are described only as four Hispanic males. One of them appeared to be in his late 20s, tall and thin. He was accompanied by a female, also in her late 20s, wearing a blouse with the number "46" on the front. They were last seen in a white, late-model Ford Explorer, with a missing front license plate.

Surveillance video of gas station robbery released

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers need your help to find a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a northwest Harris County gas station.

Surveillance video from the April 2 robbery was released on Tuesday. At around 10pm, video shows a male enter the store and pull out a pistol. The clerk says the man demanded cash from the register.

The clerk complied and the suspect took off on foot.


The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years of age, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, weighing between 190 and 210 pounds and bald. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweater and tan pants.
