HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Former President George H.W. Bush will not leave a Houston hospital until he's made a full recovery. A Bush spokesperson says the former president has had a few days where he hasn't had much energy, so doctors at Methodist Hospital are putting off his discharge until he's fully recovered.
Bush had been expected to go home sometime this weekend.
The 88-year-old has been in the hospital since Thanksgiving for treatment of a lingering cough related to bronchitis.
