HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An off-duty deputy was thrown from his motorcycle early this morning in northeast Houston. It happened around 3:30am on the Eastex Freeway near Crosstimbers. The Precinct 6 constable ran into a stopped car.
Authorities say they believe the woman in that car may have been drunk. She told them she was trying to turn around on the freeway.
