Drive-by shooting kills one, injures another in NE Houston

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for anyone connected to a northwest Houston drive-by shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

The shooting happened around 6:30pm at an apartment complex on Cedar Post Lane at Westview Drive.

Police say two men were shot in a drive-by shooting outside the complex.

One of the victims was shot in the chest and died from his injuries. It wasn't immediately clear whether the other was shot, but we're told he is in stable condition.

So far, police have no motive or suspects in the shooting.

An investigation is ongoing.

Shooting at gun range injures one

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- At least one person is hurt after being shot at gun range in north Harris County.

The shooting happened at a gun range near the Eastex Freeway and Mooney Road.

We're still working to get details of what happened in the shooting, and the condition of the person who was shot.

No other details were immediately available.

Crash kills man, injures woman and 2 infants

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was dead and a woman and two babies were injured Sunday in a crash in north Houston.

The accident happened around 1:45am Sunday on Yale at Patrick.

Investigators said a white sports utility vehicle with two adults and two infants was traveling north on Yale when the driver lost control and veered off the road.

The SUV went into a ditch and rolled over.

According to officials, the male passenger was ejected and died at the scene. The female driver and the two infants were transported to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

It was unknown Sunday what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

ATV accident injures at least one person

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Four people were injured -- one teen critically -- during an ATV accident in the Katy area.

Late Friday, investigators were still on scene of the accident, which occurred on Pitts Road and Morton Road. An ATV carrying four passengers struck a light pole. One of those passengers, a 14-year-old girl, suffered serious head injuries and was transported via LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition. The other three passengers were taken to local hospitals. One transported by ambulance and other two taken by their parents. We don't yet know the ages of the other passengers. Accident involving cement truck kills 1, injures another

 One person was killed in the accident Friday afternoon.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An accident involving a cement truck on the city's south side has left one person dead and another injured.

It happened this afternoon at Highway 288 and MacGregor. Police say a cement mixer came out of gear and rolled over two men working in front of it. A 50-year-old man was killed and another was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in an unknown condition.

The truck belongs to Dorsett Bros.

An investigation is ongoing.
