HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was shot during a violent attack at a west Houston motel this morning. It happened at the Palace Inn on Westheimer near Synott. Police say the victim took a woman back to a motel room about 4:30am when two men barged in with weapons.
They used an extension cord to tie up the man and then shot him in the head. They then robbed him of money and took off with his 2004 Saturn.
The woman was apparently an accomplice because she took off with the two gunmen. All three are still on the loose.
The shooting victim was covered in blood when he staggered to the motel office. The night manager saw him and called 911.
The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital.
