HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A driver is under arrest after police say he led officers on a chase last night while throwing what appeared to be drugs and money out his window. It ended around 9pm on the South Loop near Berkley in southeast Houston. Police say they followed the suspect from a suspected drug house.
He led them on a chase along Broadway, the Gulf Freeway and the South Loop. The suspect crashed after doing a U-turn on the South Loop.
His name has not been released.
