Jessica Tata, who's charged with four felony counts of murder for the deaths of four children in the home day care she ran, will be in court today on a theft charge.
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There are new developments n on the trial of the babysitter accused of leaving several children home alone when a fire broke out, killing four of them. Earlier this morning, a judge set the dates for her trial.
Jessica Tata is charged with murder for the fire that killed the children at her home daycare in west Houston last year. The trial will begin with jury selection on October 18, followed by opening statements on October 22.
The trial is expected to last one month.
