Fatal crash blamed on underage drinking

  MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Montgomery County authorities are investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead and three others injured, and they say the teenage driver had been drinking.

The accident happened around 2am Sunday. Details were not released, but the district attorney's office tells us 18-year-old David Wiggins was behind the wheel.

Wiggins was transported to a local hospital where investigators interviewed him. It was determined that alcohol was involved in the crash and that Wiggins had left a party at the home of a woman named Diane Kinsey.

There were three passengers in Wiggins' car. One of them died. That victim's name has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses with information about the party or the crash are asked to contact DPS or the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Officials warn that serving alcohol to a person under 21 is a crime and also may involve civil liability.

They say this is the third underage drinking-related fatal crash in this area of Montgomery County in the last few months.

Man accused of engaging in sex acts via Skype with underage girl

Stormy Christopher Smith, 23, is charged with one felony count of online solicitation of a minor and one felony count of sexual performance by a child.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is in custody for allegedly engaging in sexually explicit conversations and video performances via Skype.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office conducted an investigation after a family came forward and reported their 15-year-old daughter had been communicating with a man via Skype.

Investigators learned the juvenile and the man, Stormy Christopher Smith, met through a mutual friend and they struck up a relationship by communicating over Skype. Investigators say Smith engaged in video sexual performances via Skype with the girl.

Smith, 23, is charged with one felony count of online solicitation of a minor and one felony count of sexual performance by a child.

He was arrested by the Montgomery Co. Precinct 4 Constables Office late Wednesday night. Bond has been set at $40,000 total.

Katy man accused of sexually assaulting underage girl

Sean Aaron Rumley, 22, is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17.

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Katy man is accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl while she was house sitting.

Sean Aaron Rumley, 22, is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17. According to court documents, the 16-year-old female victim was house sitting on March 13, 2011 and had a few friends over. Rumley came over to home with one of the friends.

The girl says she went into a bedroom to go to sleep when Rumley entered the room and began to sexually assault her, court documents state. She says she told Rumley to stop and she started screaming, but Rumley told her to be quiet. The victim says Rumley finally stopped because she was screaming and crying.

Court documents show that after the alleged assault, the girl told one of her friends as well as her pastor, who then told police.

The girl says she had only met Rumley once before and only knew his first name, but she was able to identify him on Facebook. Police say the victim picked Rumley out of a photo array.

Bond has been set at $30,000.

Twin brothers accused of raping underage girl

Isaac Gates, left, and Isaiah Gates are charged with sexual assault of a child under 17. The 19-year-olds are accused in the November rape of a then 16-year-old girl in west Harris County

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Twin brothers are accused of raping an underage girl.

Isaac and Isaiah Gates, both 19, are charged with sexual assault of a child under 17. Court documents state the incident happened on November 28, 2011 when the 16-year-old victim said she went behind a business off Memorial in west Harris County after agreeing to have sex with the twins. She then changed her mind and told the Gates that she needed to go home. The twins refused to allow her to leave, according to the girl.

Court documents show that's when one brother started to sexually assault her while the other one stood lookout in the alley. The brothers then switched places and the other brother sexually assaulted her.

The attack stopped when a passerby saw what was happening and scared off the men. The girl says she then called her mother to tell her what happened.

Police say the girl picked the Gates brothers out of a photo array.

Isaiah Gates is out on $20,000 bond. Isaac Gates is not in custody.

Man accused of having sex with underage girl he met on Facebook

  HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is accused of having sex with an underage girl he met on Facebook.

Joel Junior Camarillo, 19, is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17. Court documents state that the 14-year-old victim told police she met Camarillo on Facebook and that he asked to come over to her north Houston house on July 31.

The victim says she gave Camarillo directions to her house and that he came over and they had sex in her bedroom.

Police say they attempted to contact Camarillo for a statement, but that he did not respond to repeated calls and a letter.

Bond has been set at $20,000 in this case.
