Cypress man accused of posting sex photos online

CYPRESS, TX (KTRK) -- A Cypress man is facing charges after allegedly posting photos and videos online of him and his ex-girlfriend engaging in sex acts.

Eduardo Monsivias, 47, is charged with improper photography and visual recording. Investigators say the sexual images were posted from October 24, 2011, through January 22, of this year. They're reportedly from inside his home.

According to court documents, the victim -- who says she ended the relationship nearly two years prior -- discovered the images while doing a web search on her name. She says she was unaware the the recordings were being made at the time.

Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant and confiscated memory cards and computers from Monsivias' home, which reportedly contained several still photos and videos of Monsivias and the victim engaged in sex acts.

Monsivias has not yet been arrested. His bail has been set at $2,000.

Photos and GPS info presented in ex-cop rape trial

Pooja LodhiaHOUSTON (KTRK) -- Photos and GPS information were among the evidence shown on Friday to a Harris County jury that will decide whether a now former Houston police officer raped a woman while on duty.

Former Houston Police Officer Abraham Joseph is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a park while he was on duty. On Friday a criminal investigator gave a timeline of where Officer Joseph went the night of January 2, 2011.

According to his car's GPS, the car left a Chevron gas station at 2:52am. At 2:55, the car arrived at Townwood Park and parked near a running track. The car was there for 10 minutes and and at 3:07, the car arrived at a Valero gas station.

The investigator noted that Joseph never told dispatch he had picked up anybody.

He said, "Since I've been on the department for 28 years, it's always been grilled into me, that you get a time check when you have a female in custody. It's to protect the officer against allegations of wrongdoing."

On Friday the jury also saw photos of bruises on the alleged victim's arm and hand. The pictures were taken after the alleged assault.

But it's what jurors haven't seen that's perhaps most dramatic. Prosecutors claim there are several additional women ready to take the stand and tell the jury Joseph raped them. The judge will rule on whether to allow jurors to hear their testimony.

"His uniform is the main criteria of whether the judge will allow that evidence in," said KTRK legal analyst Joel Androphy. "It has to fit the mold of the case. If it starts being too dissimilar, it's too prejudicial.

Androphy says this testimony may be the judge's most important decision of the trial.

"This is devastating testimony," he said. "If this comes in, he's toast."

The decision on whether to allow that testimony is expected on Monday.

Ex-sub teacher accused of sending nude photos

See it on TV? Check here.Tiffany Michelle Amos Tiffany Michelle Amos, 25, is charged with online solicitation of a minor

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A former substitute teacher is accused of sending nude photos of herself to a teenage student.

Tiffany Michelle Amos, 25, was working as a substitute teacher at Westfield High School in March when she met a 16-year-old boy and exchanged cell phone numbers with him, court documents state. The teen told Spring ISD police that they had communicated by phone calls and text messages when Amos reportedly sent him nude photos of herself.

According to court documents, Amos admitted to an officer that she sent the nude photos when she knew the boy was just 16 years old. She also stated that she had sex with the boy at her apartment on his 17th birthday and a few times after that. The officer reportedly found nude photos of Amos during a search of her cell phone.

Spring ISD issued the following statement:

"The Spring ISD Police Department investigated an allegation involving a substitute teacher, Tiffany Amos, and a Westfield High School student. The Spring ISD administration determined that there was an inappropriate relationship between the substitute and the student that warranted her immediate termination and further investigation. The results of that investigation indicate that the incident involved only one student. Those results were submitted to the Harris County District Attorney's office, which accepted felony charges for Online Solicitation of a Minor.

The safety of our students is of the highest importance. The criminal history and references of job applicants, including those who apply to serve as substitutes, are routinely checked before they are hired. The district takes every allegation seriously and with the Spring ISD police department, will always conduct a thorough investigation."

Amos has been charged with online solitication of a minor. Bail has been set at $5,000.
